Vehicle-to-Everything
V2X
Your EV becomes a backup battery
The V2X module is a 25 kW DC bidirectional charger that lets a compatible electric vehicle power your home during an outage. A typical EV carries 60–100 kWh of usable battery, more capacity than our largest fixed battery plan.
During an outage, the system draws power from your EV first (preserving a driving reserve you set), then switches to the home battery when the EV hits your minimum threshold. When grid power returns, both recharge automatically.
This is an add-on to any plan. The V2X module is approximately $3,000 cash or $29/mo financed. Combined with a Pro residential system, you could have 27 kWh + 75 kWh from your EV = over 100 kWh of total backup, enough for days.
The V2X module replaces one battery slot in a stack, so a V2X-equipped stack tops out at 45 kWh (5 batteries plus V2X) instead of 54 kWh. You can add more stacks if you need both a V2X module and the full 54 kWh of fixed battery capacity.
