About Us
Energy independence for Texas homeowners, backed by people who live here too.
Eos Backup and Battery helps Texas homeowners take control of their energy. Battery backup systems, professional installation by licensed local installers, and in-house financing, statewide across Texas.
Why we started
Texas homeowners average more than 90 outages per year: equipment failures, storm damage, summer peak demand events. Most last a few hours. Some last days. All of them disrupt your family, spoil your food, and remind you that the grid isn't as reliable as it once was.
We started Eos Backup and Battery because the existing answers weren't good enough. Generators are loud, require fuel and maintenance, and upset HOA rules. Solar systems help during the day but leave you dark at night. Nothing solved the actual problem: automatic backup power that works silently, every time, without you doing anything.
A home battery does that. We built Eos to make it accessible, with transparent pricing, in-house financing from $87.45/month, and installation by licensed local installers, coordinated end-to-end by our team.
Eos Backup and Battery is a trade name of Eos Solar, Inc. (NMLS #2744537), a Texas company headquartered in Spring, TX. We are not affiliated with Eos Energy Enterprises (NASDAQ: EOSE) or any aerospace EOS programme.
Why we chose Sigenergy
We evaluated multiple battery platforms before selecting Sigenergy as our core system. The decision came down to three things:
Surge handling
A single Sigenergy controller delivers 17.1 kW of peak surge for 10 seconds, enough to start a 3-ton AC without tripping. Most competing systems require stacking two units to match that.
Modular architecture
Battery modules stack onto a single controller. Homeowners can start at 9 kWh and expand to 54 kWh per stack (or 45 kWh with the V2X module) later, without replacing hardware. Same controller, add modules.
V2X capability
The native V2X module lets compatible EVs power the home during outages. A Ford F-150 Lightning or Tesla with V2X support adds 60–100 kWh of additional backup, enough for days.
Our team
The people behind Eos, from installation coordination to financing to customer care.

Eduardo Donadi
CEO
Founder and CEO of Eos Backup and Battery. Eduardo built the company around a specific insight: the barrier to home battery adoption in Texas is not technology but access, both financial and informational. His background in fintech led to the in-house financing model that makes backup power accessible without the constraints of third-party lenders. He is a graduate of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Program and leads the team from our Spring, TX office.

Mateus Montaldi
Product Manager
Product Manager at Eos Backup and Battery. Mateus owns the design and development of the customer-facing experience, including the monitoring application homeowners use to track battery status and outage events. His focus is making complex energy data readable and actionable, so customers understand exactly how their system is performing without needing to be engineers. He works across the hardware and software layers to ensure the Sigenergy platform integrates cleanly with Eos's service model.

João Fabbri
Finance
Finance lead at Eos Backup and Battery. João manages the in-house financing program that allows homeowners to get a battery system installed from a monthly payment rather than a large upfront cash outlay. His work covers eligibility assessment, payment structuring, and ensuring that financing terms stay transparent and accessible. The ability to offer in-house financing with no credit score impact to check eligibility is a direct result of the model João oversees.

Lin Zeri
Content Strategist
Content Strategist at Eos Backup and Battery with over six years in the energy sector. Before joining Eos, Lin worked as a coordinator at Blue Sol, one of the top three solar companies in South America prior to its acquisition by the multinational EDP. Her writing focuses on helping homeowners make confident decisions: how to size a battery correctly, what surge capacity means in practice, and what the real long-term costs look like. She tracks the Texas battery market closely and authors the in-depth guides and comparisons published on the Eos blog.

Danielle Gurita
Social Media
Social Media Manager at Eos Backup and Battery. Danielle oversees the company's content presence, focusing on making home battery concepts accessible to homeowners exploring energy independence for the first time. She works closely with the installation team to document real projects and share customer stories, translating technical topics into clear and useful information. Her work is an important part of how Eos builds trust with prospective customers before the first conversation.
