Why? Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully.

What? The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include: Social Security number and income; account balances and payment history; payment-card and bank-account (ACH) transaction information; and credit history and credit scores. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.

How? All financial companies need to share customers’ personal information to run their everyday business. In the section below, we list the reasons financial companies can share their customers’ personal information; the reasons Eos Loan chooses to share; and whether you can limit this sharing.

Who we are and what we do

Who is providing this notice? Eos Loan, a brand of EOS Solar Inc (NMLS #2744537). How does Eos Loan protect my personal information? We use security measures that comply with federal law, including computer safeguards and secured files and buildings, and the GLBA Safeguards Rule. How does Eos Loan collect my personal information? We collect your personal information when you apply for financing, give us your contact or income information, provide account or bank information, or use our Services; we also collect it from credit bureaus, data-aggregation providers, and other companies. Why can’t I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes (creditworthiness), affiliates to market to you, and nonaffiliates to market to you; state laws and individual companies may give you additional rights.

Definitions

Affiliates: companies related by common ownership or control. Eos Loan’s affiliates include EOS Solar Inc and Eos Fund LLC. Nonaffiliates: companies not related by common ownership or control; they can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Eos Loan does not share your information with nonaffiliates so they can market to you. Companies that perform services for us — such as our payment processor (Stripe), data-aggregation provider (Plaid), and consumer reporting agencies — act on our behalf for our everyday business purposes and are not nonaffiliates we share with for their own marketing. Joint marketing: a formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
